OPTIMAL 2100

Like all medium size OPTIMAL machines, the 2100 is fitted with four spades, 2 independent rear stabilizers, and two rootball pads. To keep the working height low, it is also equipped with telescopic spade cylinders. The OPTIMAL 2100 is a tough, compact machine designed to dig up to an 84" diameter rootball. Using our OPTIMAL transplanting machine we can lift a tree (up to 12 inch diameter trunk) complete with its rootball, transport it to its new location and plant it into an exact fitting planting hole which has previously been dug by the same transplanter. The rootball itself has been gently carved out of its old environment and comprises the main part of the root system. Thanks to the intact rootball the transplanted tree can quickly establish itself in its new environment. This method allows tree transplanting to be carried out throughout the year, even when the trees are in full leaf.

The spade frame is opened and the transplanter reverses towards the center of the tree.

The frame is locked and the spades are pressed into the ground.

The tree is then lifted out of the ground.

The spade is now swung into the horizontal position ready for transport.

The tree is transplanted into its new environment.
